Style Violet is a Los Angeles-based online boutique offering trendy clothes and accessories at affordable prices. We received a necklace from their fashion jewelry collection - which range in price from $6 to $28. The item we received is midway in their jewelry price range - the emerald beaded necklace priced at $16. The first package got damaged during shipment. As soon as we notified customer service, they immediately sent a replacement and we could not be happier with their response. They have great customer service and they ship fast - 2 important things we look for in online shopping. Before I received the actual piece, I peeked at the product photo. The style, the color, the multi layers were right on trend for spring but I thought the photo made the beads look a little plastic-ky. Well, only way to find out is to see it in person. It turns out that even though the photo captured the color of the necklace vividly, it failed to capture the glassy, glossy look of the beads -

they're definitely not plastic-ky. In fact, the beads have some weight. The different shades of green, some blueish, some jade-like, are gorgeous. I would imagine no two are exactly alike. It has a really cool, boho feel.

It goes well with many colors but I found it really pops against white. Try it with this cotton voile trapeze dress by Free People or this tunic-length tank in crinkled cotton gauze by Hard Tail.
