Mary Kate Olsen ran errands on January 3 in Los Angeles in her typical unique attire, possibly inspired by the wicked witch of the west? That hat and those scary Marc Jacobs shoes, pretty witchlike if I do say so! Always a fan of black, MK played it pretty simple, the rest of her outfit consisting of black leggings, rings, an oversized black hoody (style tip: try buying the sweatshirt in large for Mary Kate's look) with the staple Alexander McQueen skull scarf and that purse she's been lugging around everywhere lately that looks like a grandma sweater she shrunk in the wash and had to make into a bag.

In the land of Hollywood where young starlets are increasingly dying their hair darker and darker shades, Mary Kate Olsen has dramatically done the complete opposite, and emerged on Decemeber 17 from an appointment with her hairdresser sporting some shockingly platinum tresses.
