Britney Spears stunned photographers (and me!) when she embarked on a mini shopping trip at LA boutique Sydney Michelle on April 12, looking better and happier than she has in a long, long time. After Brit spent an hour shopping inside for clothes and hats (got to have something to cover those wigs), she emerged wearing one of her new outfits, a cute, patterned bubble dress (check out Bellekat's Lola Dress for a similar style) with a cowboy hat (duh) and coral necklace. Tired from shopping up a storm, Brit then headed to Starbucks, but didn't want to deal with the chaos that would involve going inside. Kindly, one of the paparazzi got the drinks and brought them to the car (see, paparazzi do actually help celebrities!).

When will you learn! When you get a big, fat grease stain on your top, you borrow a jacket from someone so that the paparazzi don't see it! B. Spears went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Beverly Hills on April 4 to celebrate her little sister Jamie-Lynn's 16th birthday, and obviously celebrated by going braless and spilling stuff all over her! Wearing one of her trademark wigs-attached-to-caps and her new blue contacts, Brit also chose to wear a sheer ruffled blouse, velvet shorts and carried a leather bag. While it's nice to see that she has reigned in her constant party-hopping ways of late (hopefully it's out of her system) and has been enjoying the simple things in life (dining and shopping), I have two thoughts about this everpresent stain situation. On one hand, I love Britney because she really, truly does not care what people think of her. If she gets a greasy steak stain on her shirt, who cares! On the other, girl needs to know that this is all anyone is going to be talking about for this outfit. I'm also wondering where her babies are. Hopefully, we will see Britney with them very soon!

It's like a Britney invasion this week! First, two Laker games in a row, now a day of shopping and dining on April 2 and bringing her good old cowgirl look back. Wearing a brown and white dress (Plenty by Tracy Reese) makes a cute dress with a similar pattern) with cowboy boots, a cowboy hat with a turquoise accent and a pair of circular gold earrings with red stones, Britney yet again is looking better by the day. She just needs to stay away from those beat blonde and pink bob wigs.. stick to the natural hair look, B!

If you completely ignore that awful hat and imagine that her cute wig is actually her hair, these pictures of Britney Spears at a Lakers game in Los Angeles on March 30 could totally be pictures of a cute and happy Britney circa 2002 and her "Crossroads" days! Stepping out in dark denim with a black halter and long brown coat, a post-Promises Britney seemed truly happy and had that sort-of natural glow back.

After spending 5 hours holed up with good old K-Fed in a meeting with their divorce attorneys (where Britney undeniably got the better end of the deal, thanks to an "iron-clad" prenup set up by her lawyers), Britney hit up the Bridge lounge in West Hollywood, where she apparently only stayed for around a half hour. I say that B was victorious in the meeting because Kevin only managed to make out with a measley (hey, it's all relative) $1 million dollars for the divorce! Geez, you know he's like already spent that much already since they've been separated! It was also settled that Britney and Kevin would have 50/50 custody of their two sons. But hey, in picking someone for sole custody, it's like who's the lesser of two evils? I say B. Either way, Britney was keen on showing of her sparkling new pearly whites on her way to the lounge, where she wore a blue dress with a white wrap and dainty necklace. Just ditch that hat and Brit's on her way to a pretty good makeover!
