Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen both hit up Maxfield on April 12, sticking to the black-and-white look they've been very fond of lately. What was quite shocking, however, was the fact that Ashley was actually SMILING for the paparazzi, instead of hiding behind her giant Fendi bag! That being said, to try and steal each twin's look here, starting with MK, go with a pair of black leggings, along with a killer leather jacket, long black tank and huge black shades. For Ashley's more conservative look, pair a black blazer with a white button-up, grey tee, high-waisted black ruffle belt and a pair of black tights with sky-high stilettos. Remember: stick to black!

Britney Spears stunned photographers (and me!) when she embarked on a mini shopping trip at LA boutique Sydney Michelle on April 12, looking better and happier than she has in a long, long time. After Brit spent an hour shopping inside for clothes and hats (got to have something to cover those wigs), she emerged wearing one of her new outfits, a cute, patterned bubble dress (check out Bellekat's Lola Dress for a similar style) with a cowboy hat (duh) and coral necklace. Tired from shopping up a storm, Brit then headed to Starbucks, but didn't want to deal with the chaos that would involve going inside. Kindly, one of the paparazzi got the drinks and brought them to the car (see, paparazzi do actually help celebrities!).

Nicole Richie made a trip to the Neil George Salon (seriously, is she there like every day?) with her BF, faux-rocker Joel Madden, and definitely looked much more healthy and toned than we've seen her in a long while. Keep it up, Nicole… you're looking great! Wearing a black minidress with cutout trim detail (Karen Zambos' Low Scoop Dress is a similar, more basic version) over denim shorts with oval white shades and gold bracelets, Nic seemed sunny and happy. And why shouldn't she be (I mean besides the whole possible-going-to-jail for her DUI incident thing…), she's reconciled with Paris and is gearing up for the new "Simple Life" season.

When Halle Berry stepped out in NYC on April 11 with her main squeeze Gabriel Aubrey, they hotsy totsy twosome definitely turned some heads. Halle was there to promote her new thriller with Bruce Willis, A Perfect Stranger, and she sported her chic look in a pair of dark denim with a white button-up and long trench. All the while, word on the street is buzzing about Halle's future hair-raising situation related to the filming of her new movie, titled Nappily Ever After. In the project, Halle apparently is going to mirror Britney Spears' infamous head shaving incident, and shave off all of her hair while filming for the role!

Boy oh boy, Paris Hilton has barely had time to catch her breath this week! From walking the runway at her own 2007 Sportswear Fall Fashion Show to filming the new season of "Simple Life" with Nicole, the one thing that has not tired her out lately is her new boy toy, actor Josh Henderson (and he sure puts the pretty in pretty boy). Paris, to no surprise, decided to hit up Teddy's with Josh on March 29, wearing a pair of Johnson shorts with a beaded top and Hello Kitty necklace (for a stylish, yet not so cutesy look, check out Rachel Leigh's enamel necklace). Thinking about Josh and Paris, I have to wonder how long these two will last. Anyone willing to place any bets?
