She’s had a lot to smile about as of late, but Anne Hathaway was as icy as the weather when she arrived at JFK Intl Airport on Dec 11. Looking very comfy yet polished for her flight, Anne started with her dark jeans (check out Desert Blue’s Fire Element Jean in Cormick Dark Indigo) tucked into distressed boots, a simple white tee under a brown plaid shawl, and a chocolate brown blazer (3J Workshop’s Moonshadow Leather Blazer in Brown would be perfect with the boots) pulling it together. Anne made her way through the terminal hauling her carry-on bag with a tan overcoat slung over her arm, completing her look with a pair of stealthy sunnies, an envious caramel colored tote with chain straps (try the alternate shape of Rough Roses’ Roxy Tote in Grey), and a pair of unique white pendant earrings (try Christie Martin’s White Coral Earrings in Gold or try the similar shape of Castaway’s Horn Pendant Necklace in Silver). It’s not an incredibly exciting ‘fit but it’s perfect to catch a flight in, wouldn’t you agree? I’m surprised to see Anne isn’t flashing her trademark toothy smile, because the past week has been quite a joyful one for her. Anne was nominated for a Golden Globe for her work in Rachel Getting Married on Thursday - Don’t get too comfortable, Angelina Jolie! We’ll have to wait until January to find out which one of the lovely ladies will be honored with the award, and until then you can look forward to Anne’s next release, Bride Wars with Kate Hudson. After all the whirlwind events that have taken place in her life this year, Anne told the press: “This is the year that I realized how profoundly I am loved and supported. And [I] realized that in order for a human being to be a successful human being, they must have deep profound wonderful committed relationships in their lives with their friends, with their family, with a lot of different people.” Sounds like a very mature realization! Just stay away from con-men now…
