An off-price retailer, Marshalls is known for carrying items that are up to 60% off department store prices. We were invited to “shop on their dime” so we can see for ourselves how we can get the season’s must-have trends by trusted designer names at unbeatable prices. So, we received $50 in gift cards and lucky me, I became the chosen one sent off to shop my heart away.
After a few minutes of browsing at our neighborhood Marshalls, I had narrowed down to 2 items – a pair of boots and an eyelet-trim blouse, both priced at $49.99. The blouse is by BCBGMAXAZRIA, a white V-neck top with collar and long sleeves with eyelet trim at the cuffs. It originally retailed for $106. The boots, called the Heights is by Franco Sarto, knee-high, stacked heel, full side zip closure with a decorative covered button at the cuff. It originally retailed for $148.95.
It was a tough decision. I wanted to leave with both of them because they were both such great deals but I can only pick one so I went with… the boots! It’s an absolute must-have for the Fall season – knee, over-the-knee, or thigh-high boots. I had to pay extra for the tax of course, but considering that I’m getting a $148.95 value for $49.99, I was totally thrilled that I got a steal of a deal!
