We received the Stand Up Collar Pleated Dress in Midnight by Satori. This 100% silk dress is made in Hawaii and retails for $175.
If you’re not familiar with this designer from Hawaii, now would be a good time to try. The dress is gorgeous – simple and effortless. It drapes beautifully, has fabulous movement, and is unbelievably comfortable.
Not being familiar with the Satori line, we weren’t sure how the sizing would work out. This is where the beauty of this online boutique comes in – we specified my size (chest, waist, hips) and let them figure out which size to send out. Guess what? The size they shipped fit perfectly!
I love the understated elegance of this dress, very chic and easy to wear. I’ve worn it as a tunic over leggings and jeans, but my favorite way to wear it is as a dress (bare legs and all). It’s fabulous with a pair of nude-colored sandals from Jimmy Choo and some colorful bangles from Juicy Couture.
