Four Truffles Limited Edition Wisdom Gift Box from Urban Organics

Four Truffles is a line of anti-aging bath and body products recently launched by Urban Organics, Inc. – a Southern California based company dedicated to developing and marketing health and beauty products.

The line is infused with Lipofructyl™ Argan and Organic Shea Butter – Ecocert Certified.  This anti-aging and hydrating line up is rich in vitamins and essential oils, all natural, organic and botanical.

There’s a meaningful story behind the selection of ingredients and elements of this new product line, inspired by heartfelt stories of women around the world making a difference.

The Lipofructyl™ Argan is harvested by women in a rural area of Morocco who work tirelessly using traditional means to protect and save the Argan forrest.  The organic shea kernels come from Bukina Faso, a village in West Africa where women collect and then process the kernels into butter.  In both cases, women are helped and are then able to gain access to better education which allows them to flourish and improve their living conditions.

We received the Limited Edition Wisdom Gift Box in Neroli Citrus which retails for $95.  It contains two body butters, a body smoother, and a cleansing bar.  The set is also available in Earth Apple™.

The gift box is gorgeous and the wooden jars inside, absolutely beautiful.  They’re handcrafted collectibles by artisans in Southeast Asia and produced only once a year in a very limited quantity.  These jars help the livelihoods of these artisans by the renewed opportunity to be able to put their craftsmanship back to work again.

When I first used the cleansing bar and the smoother in my shower, I seriously did not want to get out.  The scent was intoxicating, very sensual.  I was a bit apprehensive to use them at first because I have very sensitive skin and I’m allergic to fragrances.  But rather than wanting to run away from the smell (which is my typical reaction to fragrances), I wanted to drink in the scent for as long as I can.  It was heaven.

I had the same apprehension to using the butter because I’ve only used cetaphil to moisturize my skin, it’s totally fragrance free.  I’m happy to say though that I’ve had no reactions or breakouts.  I actually applied the butter right before bed and when I woke up, I can still smell it lingering around me.  Yummy.
