Modal Tube Dress with Logo by Yoga Army

We received the Modal Tube Dress with Logo from their Fall Collection. It is 92% modal, 8% lyca, and 100% made in the USA. It retails for $180.
If you haven’t a clue what modal is, it looks and feels like cotton but is actually a bio-based fiber that is essentially a variety of rayon. Modal fabrics are smooth and soft and are resistant to shrinkage and fading. In short, this dress will not only feel good, it will also look good for many seasons to come.
Now the label recommends dry cleaning but I washed mine in delicate cycle and laid it flat to dry. It didn’t bleed or shrink so I was very happy with that. If there’s anything I hate more than grocery shopping, it’s going to the dry cleaners so any clothing I can stick in the washer earns major points with me.
Style-wise, the dress rocks – from the tube top, to the asymmetrical raw edge hem, to the exposed stitching at the seams, to the bronze highlights on the logo – it’s sexified top to bottom.
Speaking of the top, I was a little concerned about it falling off because my chest department is not well endowed. However, I must say it held up quite well. No wardrobe malfunction to report, everything thankfully stayed in place.
In the bottom, the skirt is full but the abs area fits nice and snug. If you wear the dress out on a date and you plan to put any food in your mouth, plan on wearing spanx so you don’t bloat out. The 8% lycra in the dress will accommodate it but if you have a healthy appetite, best wear some form of control undergarment so you don’t look like you grew a love handle in the middle of your date.
Comfort-wise, the fabric is super soft and comfortable to wear. It feels like you’re wearing a cotton tee except way longer. The dress has no zippers, buttons, or belts. It slips on and off – no muss, no fuss.
You’re probably thinking, great dress but the weather’s cooling down. Well, that’s what jackets and boots are for! For a complete edgy look, wear it with an oversized snakeskin-embossed leather boots with bold brass hardware and top it off with a bold red patent lambskin bomber jacket. Utterly dramatic and totally drop-dead gorgeous!
